Laura House is a sought-after writer/performer. She co-created and starred on Mtv's first scripted show, the cult-favorite, Austin Stories, then went on to write on  Emmy-winning shows such as Mom and Samantha Who?, as well as the BAFTA-winning Secret Life of Boys.  She's sold five shows shows including "Super Mom" to ABC with Barry Sonnenfeld, "LifeBlowz" to FX with Katey Sagal and a Nickelodeon sketch show starring Rachel Crow. As an actress, appears in Where the Heart is with Natalie Portman and has a Broadway World Award nomination for Best Featured Actress for her work as Jean in Good People. Her personal essays are published in 3 books: True Tales of Lust and LoveComedy Film Nerds Guide to the Movies, and The 5,000 Stages of Grief and is a contributor to Broadly, and VICE.  She created and stars in the hit solo show "How to Hate Yourself" which Huffpo calls "a riotous laughfest and a complete joy." 

She is a nationwide headlining comedian who's performed on HBO, Comedy Central, NBC. Fun fact: Louis CK named her as one of the funniest female comedians. She has a killer hourlong special, "Tryna Be."

She also teaches meditation around the world, for group and corporate events and privately to ppl who want to chill. On her podcast "Will U Med with Me?" She teaches comedians to meditate. She's known for demystifying the ancient practice, and making it funny, easy and especially accessible to smart-asses like herself.
